| Ryanair sets new monthly record |

A spate of 'World Cup' bookings meant that Ryanair set a new monthly record of 7m passengers booked to travel for the month of July.
It is also the first time any European airline has 7m passengers booked to travel in a single month.
Ryanair said there was a rush of bookings every time a European team was knocked out of the World Cup.
